Jamie Warr

Jamie brings over ten years of industry experience to his role as the North-West Lead and Senior Civil and Structural Engineer with Collective. He combines his genuine passion with broad engineering experience and deep technical knowledge to deliver sustainable engineering solutions that make a lasting difference.

After completing a Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Tasmania, Jamie began his career working as a structural engineering consultant in southern and northern Tasmanian before settling in the north-west and expanding to the civil engineering discipline.

Over the years, he has accumulated broad experience across both private and public sectors, contributing to a wide range of building and infrastructure projects throughout Tasmania while building expertise that spans the full project lifecycle.

Shaped by the devasting 2016 floods, Jamie developed a keen interest in flood engineering and mitigation to support his local community, and broader Tasmania. This passion has since become one of the defining features of his career with Jamie contributing to the SES statewide flood mapping project and delivering numerous flood studies and mitigation solutions across the state.

Outside of work, Jamie can be found on the mountain bike trails or out on the golf course, exploring what Tasmania has to offer.
