Jarred Allen

As North Lead and Senior Civil Engineer at Collective Consulting, Jarred brings over 15 years of industry experience, along with a practical mindset and a strong focus on people and team leadership. His approachable nature and ability to connect with clients and colleagues alike play a key role in driving successful project outcomes.

After completing a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) at the University of Tasmania in 2009, Jarred began his career as a Graduate Structural Engineer with Bullock Consulting. He went on to further develop his technical expertise across a number of respected firms, including Structerre, AJL Consulting Engineers, and Rare Innovation, working across both structural and civil engineering disciplines.

Jarred later transitioned into the public sector as Team Leader Engineering at Meander Valley Council, where he strengthened his leadership capabilities and gained valuable experience managing teams and delivering community-focused infrastructure projects. He now brings this well-rounded experience into his role at Collective Consulting.

Known for his practical approach and strong people management skills, Jarred is respected for delivering efficient, buildable design solutions while fostering positive working relationships within project teams. He is passionate about creating designs that are not only effective, but also straightforward to construct.

Outside of work, Jarred enjoys playing golf, watching football, camping, and spending quality time with his wife and two children.
