Integrated Management System
At Collective Consulting, our systems have evolved alongside our engineering practice. Built on more than 25 years of professional experience, our Integrated Management System (IMS) reflects the lessons, processes and quality standards developed through thousands of projects across Tasmania and Australia.
Rather than being created as a compliance exercise, our IMS was developed from the way we already workâcapturing the knowledge, discipline and professional judgement that underpin successful engineering outcomes. It provides a structured framework for managing quality, health and safety, environmental responsibility and project delivery, while maintaining the flexibility required for complex engineering projects.
Our IMS guides every stage of a project, from initial enquiry and project planning through to design, review, delivery and close-out. It ensures risks are identified and managed, responsibilities are clearly defined, decisions are documented, and lessons learned are continuously incorporated into future projects.
Importantly, we believe systems should support good engineering, not replace it. Our approach combines robust processes with professional judgement, allowing our team to deliver innovative and practical solutions while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and accountability.
Our management systems are independently certified by DLCS and aligned with internationally recognised ISO standards, including:
These certifications provide independent verification that our systems are effective, consistently applied and continually improved.
As our business grows, our IMS continues to evolve, providing a strong foundation for innovation, digital engineering, emerging technologies and future ways of working, while preserving the principles that have guided our practice from the beginning.
Together, our systems reflect the same philosophy as our engineering: disciplined, practical and built to endure.
