Collective Consulting Pty Ltd (Collective) is a specialist Structural and Civil engineering consultancy based in Launceston, Tasmania. We are in a unique position to provide engineering expertise to clients that recognise creative engineering design and expert advice is essential to the success of their projects. Established in 2022, from a partnership of Collectively, like-minded engineers and technical staff, our efficient team provides design and consulting services to a range of clients in both the private and government sector. Collective Consulting is formed from the partnership of founding directors Alan Leake and Matthew Peart. Collective is the evolution of Managing Director, Alan Leake’s former company, AJL Consulting Engineers

A typical day at Collective is often designing and meeting clients for projects in educational and research hubs, health facilities, tourism developments, sporting precincts, architectural homes, commercial buildings, civil infrastructure projects, mining structures, transport centres and industrial buildings for our advanced manufacturing sector. These projects benefit our State and nation through new and upgraded facilities.

Collective has been created with foundational purpose to assist in society’s adaptation to climate change, supporting future generations through training and development, whilst implementing innovative design and construction techniques to increase productivity and reduce consumption. By seeking to be leaders in research and technology through collaboration with other consultancy partners and technical institutions, we will develop strategies to solve real world problems, whilst operating a sustainable business for the next generation of engineers.
